Gratin of wild boar


- Oudendijk Millennium
- Wild boar steak
- Chicory
- Wild mushrooms
- Potatoes
- Cream
- Milk
- Garlic

Clean the chicory and remove the bitter core at the base. Steam the chicory in a steamer until nearly cooked.
Clean the wild mushrooms well with a brush and chop into thickish slices. Fry the mushrooms for 2 minutes.
Brush the steaks with oil and lay them on a hot grill for a few minutes, turning and then seasoning.

Put the thinly sliced potatoes into a cooking pot. Then bring the cream, milk, garlic and herbs to the boil in a small pan. Pour the boiling liquid over the sliced potatoes and cover with aluminium foil. Leave to simmer for 40 minutes.

Sprinkle with grated Oudendijk Millennium. Then place in the oven for 10 minutes.

Arrange on the plates, then your delicious wild boar gratin is ready to serve!
